Best Indian rice recipes
Green Rice:
- 3 green chillies
- 1 small piece ginger
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 bunch coriander leaves
- 1 large onion
- Salt to Taste
Preparation involves grinding the chillies, coriander leaves, garlic, ginger and onion, then heat some oil and sauté some ground masala and garam masala powder then add 1/4 glass of rice and 1/2 glass of water then cooking.
Orange Rice:
- 3 – 4 carrots (crushed and juiced)
- 2 tsp red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp. ginger garlic paste
- 1 pinch saffron powder
- Salt to Taste
Saute the ginger garlic paste in oil, add red chilli powder, salt, carrot juice and kesari powder before adding rice and water to cook as before.
White Rice:
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves, 2 Cardamoms and 1 inch of cinnamon stick, all ground to a powder
- Salt to Taste
Saute the onion and ginger garlic paste in oil before adding the ground powder mix with the salt then cooking with same quantities of rice and water used previously.
